VIsiting our Showroom

As a family-owned business, we sincerely appreciate your custom.

In these challenging times, we all share a responsibility to safeguard the wellbeing of our customers, teams and contractors.

Our showroom is taking the following measures:

Showroom opening hours

We are open for non-appointment visitors on Tuesdays, 10am to 12pm; and Saturday 10am to 5pm.

We are pleased to offer by-appointment visits throughout the week, reserved for only you and your family with a single member of staff, complying to the two-metre distancing requirement whilst offering a personal service. To avoid disappointment, we advise on booking your by-appointment visit at least 24-hours before your preferred day and time by phone 01442 876 131, or email lee@montaguepianos.co.uk

When visiting our showroom

Please be reassured that the door, pianos and showroom fittings are sanitised before opening.

There is sanitised hand gel in store, which we kindly ask that you use on entry.

We are observing the two-metre rule as per government guidelines. There is one member of staff in the showroom, who has a mask on standby for your reassurance.

We understand that it is important for you to play the pianos. All pianos played are sanitised – and on choosing your piano, lids are closed and a sign will instruct future visitors that it is not to be touched. Our team will wipe down the instrument pre-delivery.

We want you to feel as comfortable and confident as possible. If you would like to understand more about the measures we are taking, we welcome your call or email.

Thank you for your co-operation, custom and support.

Piano Tunings

Thank you for booking your piano tuning with Montague Pianos. As a family-owned business, we sincerely appreciate your custom.

In these challenging times, we all share a responsibility to safeguard the wellbeing of our customers, teams and contractors.

Please re-arrange your appointment if members of your household are displaying any symptoms of Covid-19, or if you have been notified that you have been in recent contact with a confirmed case.

Our team will be taking the following measures:
Before visiting your home: Hands and equipment will be sanitised. We will call at least 10 minutes ahead of arrival.
During the tuning: A facemask and gloves will be worn.  Keys and casework will be wiped before, and after tuning. Piano stools may be covered in polythene. Social distancing will be observed.

Before we arrive, we kindly ask that our customers do the following:
When we have notified you of our arrival time: Please leave your door open (if possible) so we can have contact -free access.
Please clear the area on top, and immediately around the piano: This is important for your, and our safety. It means we can undertake the tuning as safely and efficiently as possible.
On leaving the property: Please leave the door open, so we can leave contact-free.

Paying for your tuning:
We ask that cash and cheques are placed in an envelope (please make cheques payable to Piano Tuning Services).
If paying by bank-transfer, please pay on the day with your surname as a reference.

If you would like to understand more about the measures we are taking, we welcome your call or email. We want you to feel as comfortable and confident as possible, so you may continue enjoying your piano.

Thank you for your co-operation, custom and support.
